Food Health and Hygiene related courses offered in association with Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. In each category there are specialist modules for different sectors of the food industry.
Level 1 Awards in Food Safety - a short half-day advisory course (3 hours + exam)

Level 1 Award in Introduction into Food Safety for Manufacturing

These courses are run half day introductory courses suitable for a variety of candidates, including new employees with minimal or no prior knowledge of food safety, employees handling low risk food, front-of-house staff, kitchen porters and warehouse staff.
The Following topics will be covered;
Food safety (hygiene, hazards responsibilities)
Personal hygiene
Cleaning
Avoidance of contamination
The course should last about 3 hours and will be followed by a multiple choice examination of 15 questions.
